Hey there!

My name is Jackie Powell and I'm an artist based in the Boston area, originally from Miami, Florida. I'm a multi-disciplinary illustrator, designer, and visdev artist, specializing in narrative environment and character art!

I primarily work in digital, gouache, and ink, with experience in a wide variety of traditional and digital mediums. I dabble in clay and polymer sculpting, 3D sculpting, block printing, and even glassblowing! I love to experiment, challenge myself, and get my hands on every form of art-making possible.

My mission is to weave powerful and emotional narratives that resonate with people from all walks of life, to illustrate the beauty of the mundane, and to express what gives me joy. I believe that community is a core part of the art world and beyond, and fostering its growth is a key principle underlying all of my work!
